MONGOLIAN BARBECUE @ IFI, November 12th

The Mongolian Barbecue (2009) will be screened at the Irish Film Institute as part of a programme called 'Absences and (Im)possibilities' presented by the Experimental Film Club and the IFI, Dublin, on Tuesday November 12th and 6.30pm.

Here's their blurb:

IFI and EFC present the launch of Absences and (Im)Possibilities a programme of Irish Experimental Film works commissioned by IFI International, and curated by Esperanza Collado, Aoife Desmond, Donal Foreman and Alan Lambert. The programme features a selection of films from 1897 to 2011, chosen for their relation to the possibility of an Irish experimental cinema. Filmmakers include the Lumiére brothers, Samuel Beckett, Vivienne Dick, Clare Langan, Maximilian Le Cain and Dónal Ó Céilleachair.

IFI International is the Irish film programming service for international exhibitors, funded by Culture Ireland. Absences and (Im) Possibilities will screen internationally through this initiative.
